Wellwishers’ 400 cards to ill youngster
A TERMINALLY ill boy has received nearly 400 birthday cards after his mum said he loves opening post.
Ayaan Hussain has a degenerative brain disease, epilepsy and a condition that causes limbs to jerk.
He was inundated with cards when he turned five recently, following a social media appeal by his mum Farzana, 27.
She said: “He loves pulling the cards out of the envelopes. Now, after two weeks, he has had nearly 400 cards, presents, and a kind stranger has even booked for two Teletubbies mascots to visit the house.
“We’re overwhelmed by how kind everyone’s been.”
A bucket list fund for the youngster, from Birmingham, has raised more than £150. Ayaan’s family hope to take him to Disneyland.
