Parking double fault by Boris
FOOT FAULT Boris climbs out of his Porsche TENNIS legend Boris Becker was no match for traffic wardens when two of his sports cars were slapped with parking tickets and one was towed away.
The star, nicknamed Boom Boom for his huge serve, got tickets on both his £65,000 blue Maserati and his red £80,000 Porsche Cayenne GTS, then a flatbed removal truck came to take the Maserati away.
It is believed it had already been ticketed when Boris, 49, pulled up in his Porsche on his way to a private members’ club in South Kensington, West London, yesterday. He will have to pay upwards of £200 to get the car released from a council pound.
The car trouble is the latest in a series of woes to hit the German, a three-time Wimbledon champion in the 1980s. Last week he was declared bankrupt in the High Court over a long-standing debt. And on Sunday he had to rubbish reports that he is to split from his wife of eight years, Lilly.
