BARCA TEEN A BARGAIN FOR SPURS

SPURS are poised to land one of Spain’s top youngsters for £2.6million. Central midfielder Carles Alena, 19, is rated as the most promising player to have emerged from the Barcelona academy for some time. His current deal has 12 months to go and he is refusing to sign another. He has a release clause of just £2.6m, which increases to £10.5m after July 1. Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino could steal in to sign Alena (above) before the end of this month for a bargain fee.
