KLOPP GOES OX HUNTING
Kop chiefs make first move on £25M Gunner
LIVERPOOL have made their move for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Anfield chiefs have directly approached Arsenal for the £25million-rated England midfielder, stealing a march on Manchester City and Chelsea.
Even though they were rebuffed, Gunners could still sell the 23-year-old as his contract talks have ground to a halt. The Ox has one year left on his
deal and there are fears at the Emirates that he and star names Alexis Sanchex and Mesut Ozil could all leave this summer.
Relations between Liverpool and Arsenal have been frosty since a botched attempt from Arsene Wenger to sign Luis Suarez in 2013. It has even been claimed that Liverpool inserted a clause in Roberto Firmino’s contract which prevented him from joining Arsenal.
But if Jurgen Klopp comes up with the best offer, and OxladeChamberlain shows no willingness to sign a new deal, then Arsenal could be forced into selling.
