Our awards hunt will be far and Pride

PRIDE of Britain host Carol Vorderman launches our search for everyday heroes on ITV’s Good Morning Britain today.

Our fleet of Minis will go on a 1,000-mile trek as we seek ordinary people who have done amazing things.

TV stars will wave us off from London before we are in Brighton on Thursday alongside Peter Andre.

Carol said: “Pride of Britain winners are truly amazing, but they are also incredibly modest.

“So we need people to tell us about them.”

The Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards, in partnership with TSB, will be aired on ITV in October.
