Agassi and the ecstasy
ANDRE AGASSI won’t arrive at Wimbledon until this weekend – but will stay as long as Novak Djokovic remains in the tournament.
The world No.4, playing a grass-court warm-up event for the first time since 2010 at the Aegeon International in Eastbourne, has called in former Wimbledon champion Agassi as part-time coach.
The Serb superstar, who will play Vasek Pospisil in his first match today, said: “Andre will be in London for Wimbledon. He will stay as long as I stay in the tournament, so that’s great news.”
CYCLING
MARK CAVENDISH has won his battle against glandular fever and will line up in the peloton at the Tour de France this weekend. Cavendish (above) has missed almost three months of the season so far.
