Expert: Killer ‘could be here’

SCARE Our shock story yesterday FEARSOME Great white shark A LEADING marine biologist believes a great white shark could be lurking in British waters.

Darren Gook, of the Sea Life Centre in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, said: “My honest opinion is that it is not out of the realm of fantasy that they could live quite comfortably in our waters.

“The temperature range in the summer months is within their tolerance levels and there is a good food source here of seals, dolphins and porpoises.

“But it will always be a hotly debated subject until somebody produces photographic evidence.”
