Nam does a Fox-trot

Mendy, 25, targeted by French club Bordeaux, said: “Since my adviser talked to me about the possibility of joining Bordeaux, I’m set on it. It’s even an obsession.”

Striker Ahmed Musa, 24, also fancies a move along with former PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez.

Mendy signed a fouryear deal from Nice last July in a £13million switch.

Injuries and a struggle to break into the Foxes’ first team, however, resulted in him making just nine appearances in all competitions.
