Yes Minister writer’s £4m

-

YES Minister creator Sir Antony Jay left more than £4.2million in his will.

Sir Antony, who died aged 86 last August, and writing partner Jonathan Lynn were reportedly paid only £600 each per episode of the hit BBC sitcom.

It is thought he made his fortune from a firm making training films about business management, which he set up with John Cleese.

Yes Minister starred Paul Eddington as hapless MP Jim Hacker in three series between 1980 and 1984.
