Prince’s killer drug hits UK
THE drug that killed pop star Prince is flooding UK streets, warn police.
A senior officer said Fentanyl, which caused the star’s death from an overdose last year, is 100 times stronger than morphine.
“We are finding it more often in Southampton,” said Det Supt Paul Barton, head of organised and serious crime in the city.
“It’s a cutting agent mixed with drugs such as heroin and cocaine. People aren’t used to the strength. They don’t expect it.”
