“I’m doing the British Championships and I’m going to see how far I can take it – maybe a sixth Olympic gold?” Wiggins will compete at December’s British Rowing Indoor Championships to launch his bid for inclusion in Team GB’s squad ahead of Tokyo 2020.
Wiggins, 37, won his fifth Olympic title in Rio last year and must bulk up to generate the required levels of power he’ll require as a rower.
