Hartbreak of facing a City trip
July 2: Sanchez to play in Russia July 3: Arsenal pre-season starts
JOE HART could be forced to go on tour with Manchester City this summer – despite not being wanted by Pep Guardiola.
Hart has returned following his season-long spell in Italy with Torino, but knows he has no future back at the Etihad Stadium under Guardiola.
City have signed Edersen Moraes from Benfica for £35million and released Willy Caballero, while Angus Gunn has joined Norwich on loan.
With Claudio Bravo due time off following his involvement in the Confederations Cup with Chile, it leaves Edersen and Hart as Guardiola’s only available keepers.
That means Hart, 30, faces the potentially uncomfortable situation of having to go on City’s pre-season tour of the US.
City face Manchester United in Houston, Real Madrid in Los Angeles and Tottenham in Nashville, before taking on West Ham in Iceland before the new season.
Hart is desperate to secure a move away from City after spending last season on loan, but City have received no tangible offers for the England No.1, whom they value at £25m.
