DOUBLE Olympic champion Jade Jones is determined to return stronger after having to settle for bronze at the World Taekwondo Championships, in South Korea, where Great Britain delivered a record five medals.
Welsh fighter Jones was looking to add a first world crown to her European Championship and World Grand Prix titles, having secured Olympic gold in both London and Rio.
But the 24-year-old (above) was unable to overcome home favourite Lee Ah-Reum in her quest to reach the gold-medal contest, losing 8-14 to the eventual champion.
Jones said: “Sometimes you lose and I just have to go away and train hard to get better.
“I am obviously saving it for the big occasion in Manchester for the 2019 Worlds.”
