Sense is a national charity that supports people who are deafblind, have sensory impairments and complex needs.
It supports individuals with communication needs of all ages, as well as their families and carers. Sense also campaigns for their rights.
Founded in 1955 by a group of families affected by rubella, the charity has developed specialist skills and knowledge to help people communicate, express themselves and grow in independence so they can live more fulfilling lives.
More than 50 years of experience now enables Sense to help people with a much wider range of disabilities.
