It’s a winning formula. Take a couple of charming hosts, send them somewhere with an obvious culture clash, throw in a camel or two, and plant a few jokes about getting the hump. Sorted.

This is another outing for TV couple Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, who gleefully “ooh” and “aah” throughout their travels, clearly delighted at their good fortune to land such a plum job.

This time they jet off – first class, of course – to Dubai, a hedonistic playground for the super rich. Among the mind-boggling experiences they journey into the desert to enjoy a luxury night under the stars, before heading up the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, to meet the multi-millionaire who calls it home.

They also meet the pampered Dubai police force, whose fleet of cars that patrol the emirate includes a Lamborghini, Ferrari and even a million pound Bugatti Veyron.

And they discover that anything is possible if you’ve got the cash – from having your supercar gift wrapped to buying a bunch of roses that will keep on blooming forever.
