BOULTER: I’M VARD TO BEAT

-

KATIE BOULTER wants to be the Jamie Vardy of Wimbledon, as she seeks her own Leicester Citystyle miracle.

The Foxes fan attended matches at the King Power Stadium during her local team’s amazing Premier League title win.

And after the 5,000-1 trumph, she tweeted: “With a little bit of belief and magic anything can happen.” Now the British No.6 (left) has been given a Wimbledon wildcard – and will face world No.59 Christina McHale on her debut today.

And the 20-year-old, who has 10,700 followers on Instagram but no boyfriend, said: “My whole family are big fans of Leicester, especially my grandpa. He spent his whole life playing football and around them.

“I think that quote sums up their victory and sums up how I am right now in my career.

“I went to some Leicester games in their title season. It was fun and a great atmosphere.

“Vardy surely is my favourite, I would love to be the Vardy of Wimbledon but who knows?”
