Dad: ‘Factor 50 failed to protect son’
A THREE-YEAR-OLD was bad sunburnt even though his dad claims he smeared him with factor 50 cream.
Dad Darren Roberts said the product he bought at Poundworld had failed to protect Liam.
Darren, of Shotton, Flintshire, said: “It wasn’t a particularly hot day. Liam was in the paddling pool and we put cream on him every 10 to 15 minutes.
“Next morning, he was covered in blisters and sores. He was in so much pain. We had the biggest ones drained and dressed.”
“I was devastated for him, it was horrible.”
Poundworld said: “We’ve been in touch with Mr Roberts so that we can investigate. Product quality and safety is of primary importance to us.”
