ANDY IS SPLASH HIT WITH PEPPA

AS good luck messages go, Andy Murray has probably never received one quite as bizarre as the one he got yesterday.

Up early to send Murray some support on Twitter ahead of the start of his title defence against Alexander Bublik was cartoon character Peppa Pig.

Murray claimed one of the benefits of losing in the first round at Queen’s was he would have more time to watch Peppa Pig with his 17-month-old daughter Sophia. And Peppa Pig is clearly just as big a fan of Murray.

“Hello Andy Murray, have you had a good day?,” Peppa (above) said in a video message.

“Do you like jumping in muddy puddles? If you jump in muddy puddles, you must wear your boots because you wouldn’t want to get your tennis trainers muddy.

“Andy Murray – Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig, George and I wish you the best of luck at Wimbledon.”
