Why is my leg twitching?
Symptoms:

The muscles in your calf twitch, worst at night. You’re keen on a drink and you smoke 25-30 cigarettes a day.
It could be:
Fibromyalgia, where twitching is related to tender points within the muscle irritate nearby nerves causing contractions. Overexertion. Over-exercising your muscles causes spasms and twitching. They can be more severe at night and disrupt sleep. Alcohol is toxic to muscles and nicotine stimulates muscle activity.
Stop it:

Drink water during your exercise session. Eat a banana for potassium. Cut back on your drinking and use whatever means possible to stop smoking. Try vaping instead.
