I FEAR HE’S WITH OTHER WOMEN

I’m in a relationship with someone I was having an affair with. I thought that when we finally got together I wouldn’t have a doubt in my mind.

He dumped me once to go back to his ex, then finally left her.

But I’m constantly suspicious whenever he goes out. I always imagine that he is with other women. I know it’s irrational, but it’s on my mind constantly.

I just can’t trust him – is our relationship doomed?

That’s the problem – you got together through cheating on your partners, and now you’re thinking, ‘Is he doing the same to me?’

As I always say, you have to trust someone until they let you down, otherwise there’s no point in being in the relationship. You’ll drive yourself mad and become more and more paranoid and it’ll fail anyway.

Why not sit down and talk to him and explain how you’re feeling? Maybe he’s feeling the same and you simply need to be honest with each other about it.

But you have to overcome that insecurity if you’re going to be together and make a proper go of it.
