WHAT PRIME MINISTER SAID
After Westminster Bridge
They [the police] show enormous bravery, and we are grateful to them all. We are also grateful to all those from the emergency services, to those from the hospitals and to others who rushed forward to give aid and support at a time when they knew not whether they themselves might be in danger.
After the Manchester bombing
The police and emergency services have as always acted with great courage and on behalf of the country I want to express our gratitude to them. They performed with the utmost professionalism.
After London Bridge
As so often, the police responded with great courage and great speed. I want to thank and pay tribute to the bravery of the police and emergency services.
After Grenfell Tower
I cannot imagine the kind of bravery it takes to run into a burning building and head upstairs when any normal person would be heading for the exits. We have also seen sterling work from people across the public sector including teachers, nurses, staff from various local authorities and civil servants.
