Wolves’ joy at record Neves deal
WOLVES are set to finalise a club-record £15.7million swoop for Porto’s Portugal starlet Ruben Neves.
New Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo wants to work with the central midfielder again after swapping Porto for Molineux himself.
Neves, 20, is due in England in the next 24 hours for a medical ahead of his transfer. His arrival will take Wolves’ spending under Chinese owners Fosun to almost £50m.
The fee will eclipse the £13m Wolves paid to turn Helder Costa’s loan into a permanent deal.
