MUZZA: SAUZEE JUST SO GOOD..

- BY NEIL McLEMAN

ANDY MURRAY has revealed his favourite footballer – ex-Hibernian star Franck Sauzee.

The former Marseille, Monaco and France midfielder (above) starred at Easter Road from 1999-2001, then returned for a brief spell there as manager.

Murray, whose grandfather Roy Erskine played for Hibs in the 1950s, said: “Sauzee was one of the best players in the history of my club. All the fans loved him and other teams envied us. Since he left, things have not gone so well for Hibs.”

The world No.1 also supports Arsenal – and loves Barcelona and Lionel Messi after training in Catalonia.

“He is the football equivalent of Roger Federer, who all tennis fans admire because he oozes such a feeling of ease,” added Murray.

“You feel that he plays without any effort. It is the same with Messi.”
