Grenfell MP slams judge

THE retired judge probing the Grenfell Tower blaze is a “technocrat” who should quit, the local MP claims.

Kensington MP Emma Dent Coad said of Sir Martin Moore-Bick: “They [people affected] need somebody they can talk to.

“A technocrat is not what we need right now.”

Meanwhile, Hackney council said Lakehouse, the firm that reportedly looked after the tower’s fire alarm system, is being probed for fraud. It denies any wrongdoing.
