Corbyn cool on MP threat
JEREMY Corbyn distanced himself yesterday from plans to make it easier to oust moderate MPs.
The Labour leader tried to head off a new row with party centrists.
A source said Mr Corbyn “hasn’t taken a position” on potential rule changes which could see activists force out moderate Labour MPs through deselection.
Left-wingers want local branches to have more power to rule if their MP can stay. Mr Corbyn says he backs “democratisation”.
