RAFAEL NADAL is one tennis star who certainly can’t be accused of hiding away while he is in south-west London.

In fact the Spaniard is getting himself right amongst it while he is in the capital for this year’s Wimbledon.

He was snapped by one eagle-eyed fan making a late-night dash to a local Tesco supermarke­t for some groceries.

A FAMILIAR face and voice is missing from Wimbledon. After 36 years covering The Championsh­ips for BBC TV and radio, Garry Richardson has decided to get away from it all and take a holiday this year.

The broadcaste­r is also taking time out from his BBC radio gigs on Sportsweek and the Today programme. tougher challenge than his first-round opponent John Millman as Nadal (above) needed a bit of help scanning his Tesco goodies.

YESTERDAY was the 25th anniversar­y of Andre Agassi’s only Wimbledon success against Goran Ivanisevic. But the Croat (left) preferred to remember how he used to get the better of the American. When asked who the easiest player to ace was, Ivanisevic said: “Andre Agassi. Every time I played him I’d get 20 to 30 aces because he was a guesser.”
