Sock throws in towel

THE poor lad at the centre of Towelgate could go from having no souvenirs to a full set in a matter of days.

Jack Sock launched a Twitter hunt for the youngster, who had the gift from the US No.1 ripped out of his hands by an older man on Tuesday. Sock’s camp have still to track down the victim of the embarrassing robbery.

But, when he is located, not only will he receive a replacement £30 towel from Sock, but also from the US and Australian Open – and they are urging the French Open organisers to follow suit too.
