Doorman hit in gun horror

A DOORMAN was shot in the testicle as he held back a reveller, a court heard.

Dan Lewis, 32, was left in agony after a handgun carried by Theodore Paget, 27, went off outside the Sub8ten club in Leicester.

At Leicester crown court, Mr Lewis said of the “shocking” attack in May last year: “I fell to the floor in pain.”

Paget, of no fixed abode, has admitted possession of a firearm and unlawful wounding but denies wounding with intent.

The trial continues.
