With man-eating sharks being spotted in tourist destinations all over the place, Nat Geo Wild should be on to a winner with Sharkfest.

A week of hour-long documentaries kicks off on July 24 and includes Tiger Shark Terror, which looks at whether sharks only feed at night. Shark Swarm is about 12,000 blacktips hanging out next to a coastline and two-parter When Sharks Attack features people recounting their tales of lucky escapes.

This shark displaying its fearsome teeth features in Shark Vs Predator, which focuses on the creatures who turn the tables on sharks by hunting them – using talons, tentacles or teeth to finish them off. Ouch.
