MAY’S NUKE TEST SNUB

Theresa May uses our money to help keep her job, yet her government refuses to pay people like me – a veteran of the nuclear tests on Christmas Island from 1956-1959 – anything like a decent pension. We appear to be one of the only countries not to recognise the effects of these tests on veterans and our offspring. Bill Vaughan Whiston, Merseyside

In response to Barbara Jenner’s comments about the coverage of Wimbledon on BBC1 and BBC2 (Madeuthink, July 5), for goodness sake there are dozens of other channels she could watch.
