The San Fernando Valley sisters have been road hardened since the release of their Days Are Gone 2013 debut. But their brand of anaemic harmony pop has been polished to a sheen that allows for little grit, tension or emotional heft. Whether delivering the incessantl­y prepped Little Of Your Love or the airy bump and grind of Kept Me Crying, their songwritin­g is supremely ineffectua­l. Claims they are the new Fleetwood Mac don’t even deserve rumour status.
