Macca really has found a ticket to ride
SIR Paul McCartney’s rock ’n’ roll excesses are over – he now gets his fixes from bike rides or massages.
The wild parties and getting high on pot are in the past for the ex-Beatle.
Macca, 75, whose Beatles hits included Ticket to Ride, said: “If it’s a show day, we’ll go for a bike ride, so we see the city. Then, we get a massage.
“It’s boring, not rock ‘n’ roll. But it enables me to play for three hours.”
He also takes language lesson so he can speak to foreign audiences.
Macca still strives to give great shows, saying: “In the Beatles, we tried to be the best band in Liverpool.
“Then we tried to be the best band in England, then the best in the world. It’s just an instinct.”
