The sunshine is set to take some of the heat off struggling Marks & Spencer.

Experts reckon M&S will report another fall in quarterly clothing sales next Tuesday.

But the recent good weather, as well as the timing of Easter – it fell into the second quarter this year – will mean trade wasn’t as bad as the 5.9% slump in the previous three months.
