RON TELLS ROO: BE A GOOD BOY

- EXCLUSIVE BY DAVID ANDERSON

WAYNE ROONEY has been warned by Ronald Koeman that he will not tolerate bad behaviour at Everton. Rooney (left) is expected to return to Goodison next week with striker Romelu Lukaku heading the opposite way to

FROM BACK PAGE Manchester United for a basic £75million. The Everton boss met Rooney this week and outlined his football vision including a tough disciplinary code for all of his players.

Koeman will not have a drinking culture at his club and wants Rooney to be a positive influence on his crop of talented young players.

He is aware of Rooney’s past misdemeanours. The England star was pictured looking the worse for wear after gatecrashing a wedding at England’s HQ at The Grove Hotel in November.

He was also spotted in a late-night Chester pub in April, drinking pints to celebrate United’s win over Burnley.

Rooney also gambled away £500,000 in just two hours during a late-night visit to a casino in May.

Koeman expects Rooney, 31, to buy into his philosophy while the forward is believed to have been impressed by the manager’s vision for Everton and expressed his own hunger to succeed.

Lukaku, 24, has been training with pal Paul Pogba in Los Angeles (above) as he waits for his United switch to be completed.

He is on holiday with Pogba and hopes he will soon be his United team-mate in a deal that could eventually be worth £90m with add-ons.

Chelsea have contacted the player’s agent Mino Raiola to ask if they can still clinch a deal. Everton are unhappy Lukaku breached club rules by failing to report back to their training ground this week.
