‘Sex on duty’ senior cop is suspended
A SENIOR police officer has been suspended amid claims he had sex with a colleague while on duty.
Chief Insp Rob Leet has been removed from his post pending an investigation into gross misconduct by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
The Sussex Police probe into Mr Leet and Sgt Sarah Porter began in March.
Neither officer was suspended then, but a spokesman confirmed that another officer is now carrying out Mr Leet’s duties. Police would not say if further action was taken against Sgt Porter.
The investigation began days after Insp Tony Lumb, based in Brighton, was arrested and suspended over claims of improper sexual relationships with women while on duty
