- BY ADAM ASPINALL

A PLANE flying from Scotland to Spain had to make an emergency stop to eject three rowdy passengers.

Armed police met the Thomson flight from Glasgow to Alicante when it landed at Bristol Airport.

Photos taken from another plane show three men sitting on the tarmac being quizzed by officers at 11.50am on Saturday.

The flight was delayed by 90 minutes. Avon and Somerset Constabulary arrested two men, aged 31 and 40, and a third whose age is unknown on suspicion of using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards airline crew.

Bristol Airport said that the incident may have begun as a medical emergency before it required police involvement.
