Boris tribute to old foe

BORIS BECKER put old rivalries to one side to support his one-time nemesis Peter Doohan.

Thirty years ago Doohan, now 56, denied Becker a third straight Wimbledon title when he pulled off one of the top shocks.

But Becker’s old foe may have just weeks to live as he fights motor neurone disease.

Becker tracked down Doohan to text him on the anniversary of his win and, with an image of them shaking hands at the net, he tweeted: “You beat me fair/ square!!! Wishing my buddy and his family only the very best.”
