MAURICIO POCHETTINO is in pole position to sign £10million Estudiantes defender Juan Foyth. The Tottenham boss has targeted the 19-year-old centre-back (below), who represented Argentina at the Under-20 World Cup earlier this year. His agent, former Manchester United midfielder Juan Veron, is already set for talks with Spurs, and Foyth is ready to reject interest from Russia and Roma. He said: “I would like to play in Europe and, if something comes up that convinces me and the club, I will go. “My agent never told me that an offer had arrived from Zenit. I would not go to Russia right now.”
