Murphy’s singing a new Toon for Rafa

NEWCASTLE are trying to finalise a deal for Norwich City’s Jacob Murphy.

Rafa Benitez is closing in on the £8million-rated England Under-21 international (above). But Toon face stiff competition from Premier League rivals Southampton and Crystal Palace.

Murphy, 22, impressed while on loan at Coventry City and again with Aidy Boothroyd’s U-21 side at the European Championship.
