Schofield step up is for keeps
HUDDERSFIELD have promoted goalkeeper Ryan Schofield, 17, to their first-team squad.
England Under-20 international Schofield, who featured for the Terriers’ Under-18s last season, will work alongside the club’s new head of goalkeeping Paul Clements in their debut Premier League season.
“Everyone knows Ryan is a talented young goalkeeper,” said Huddersfield head coach David Wagner.
Schofield made four appearances as the Young Lions retained their Toulon Tournament crown last month.
