Iceland star Sig is a cool £50m
SWANSEA have slapped a £50million price tag on Everton and Leicester target Gylfi Sigurdsson.
It is understood the Welsh club rejected a £40m offer from the Foxes for the Iceland playmaker.
Swansea are determined not to be short-changed if they cash in on a player who they value at £50m.
They feel it is a reasonable figure given Jordan Pickford cost Everton £30m and Manchester United’s willingness to pay £75m for Romelu Lukaku. Everton boss Ronald Koeman wants Sigurdsson – who had a key role in City’s successful survival fight last term – to fill Ross Barkley’s No.10 role next season with Davy Klaassen.
