£60m call for Dier
JOSE MOURINHO wants Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to make Spurs an irresistible £60million offer for England’s Eric Dier.
United boss Mourinho is after a new holding midfielder and thought he could land Dier with a bid of around £40m and an offer to double his wages.
But Spurs have refused to sell and Mourinho could even ask Woodward to go as high as £60m to land one of his top targets.
Dier is understood to be keen on the move despite signing a five-year contract last September.
