Osborne lad’s Lib-Dem role

VINCE Cable says he is a fan of George Osborne after the Tory ex-Chancellor’s son joined the Lib Dem election campaign.

Luke Osborne, 16, went canvassing with Sir Vince’s grandson in Twickenham, South West London.

Sir Vince, 74 – set to become party leader – said it “was one of the highlights of the campaign”.

And asked how editor Mr Osborne voted, Sir Vince said: “If the Evening Standard starts developing yellow tinges, you know where it all started.”
