The ‘I’ of the needle

MARIA SHARAPOVA has made an appearance at Wimbledon after all – on a graphic based on the 1970s Tennis Girl poster.

And the piece, on a wall on the route to the All England Club, has been adapted to make reference to Sharapova’s drugs ban.

In it ‘Sharapova’ injects herself while two more syringes replace the ‘I’s in the slogan ‘Tennis Girl.’
