Brits ignoring terror risk for hols in Tunisia
BRITS are flocking for sunshine breaks in Tunisia despite Foreign Office warnings of the terror risk.
Flights to resorts in the North African nation were halted after 30 Britons were killed by an Islamic State extremist in 2015.
There was a 90% fall in UK visitors after, as the Foreign Office warned of the risk of another attack.
But many Brits now take flights from Europe, where there is no travel ban, and book four-star hotels for as little as £35-a-night.
A visitor from Lincolnshire stayed close to the scene of the attack and wrote on TripAdvisor: “The security is first class.”
And a Southampton family wrote: “Where else can you get a hotel on the beach at that price? We are going back next year.”
