ITV in search of Roman scandals

Dreading the end of Love Island? ITV2 has a fresh offering lined up, with eight men and their partners transported back to Ancient Rome to see if the guys can make it as... gladiators.

The Bromans, airing in autumn, is an eight-parter narrated, appropriately, by Roman Kemp. Based in a ”Roman palace” the women will try tasks such as wine-making and sculpting, and help their partners through tough physical challenges. The lads will eventually face off in the colosseum for a £10,000 prize.

Bromans will feature ex-Gladiators star David McIntosh as the trainer and Tom Bell as the Emperor’s assistant.
