Hammers’ £17m Arnautovic bid has gone to Pot

WEST HAM have had a fresh bid worth £17million rejected by Stoke for Marko Arnautovic.

The 28-year-old (above) joined the Potters from Werder Bremen four seasons ago for just £2m. But Stoke want as much as £25m for the striker.

The Hammers returned with a renewed offer after having an initial bid of £15m turned down. Arnautovic has already handed in an official transfer request to the Potters.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic wants to stick with a 3-4-3 formation and sees the Austria star as being perfect for it. They are also in talks with £13m Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez.
