I have enjoyed every actionpacked, fun-filled episode of the first TV series of Lethal Weapon on ITV. Clayne Crawford and Damon Wayans, left, play Riggs and Murtaugh perfectly as the cop duo. They have put their own spin on the characters played by Danny Glover and Mel Gibson in the film. It’s good to hear there will be a second series. Jennifer Gibson, Penrith, Cumbria

I love Blind Date, and Paul O’Grady is perfect to follow in Cilla Black’s footsteps as host – but to give the contestants low-budget dates, such as table tennis and scrapyard golf, is unbelievable. It belittles the whole programme, and I’m sure Cilla wouldn’t have agreed to that on her show. Shame on cheapskate Channel 5. Susan Coupe, Middlesbrough
