LET’S FIGHT TORY LIES

I agree with Vasant Mistry on Labour not doing enough to defend its economic record (Madeuthink, July 10).

The Tories have lied for years about Labour’s mismanagement of the economy and, not surprisingly, even some Labour supporters believe them.

The Tories have borrowed more money in the last seven years than Labour did in all its time in power, and the deficit inherited by Labour was greater than what it left behind. Come on, Labour, publish the truth about the Tory incompetents. Sheila Fox Crawley, West Sussex
