MPs head abroad to moan and wine

MPs start their outrageously long summer break on Thursday with many saying that, due to the weak pound, they’ll be spending their jollies at home. I can’t see it myself. Plenty of Brexiteers will insist on heading to French and Italian villas just to remind themselves how awful the wine, weather and food is there.

And Theresa May is bound to take her annual walking trip to Switzerland, with her security team at her side. Just in case the last few weeks have tempted her to walk all the way to a Dignitas clinic and end it all.
